Christmas is just around the corner! To celebrate the season and my fondness for Old Father Christmas, I’m delighted to introduce Series One of my Vintage Postcard Collection. The set features six vintage postcards, accompanied by a coordinating sheet of sticker stamps.

With his flowing white beard, red coat, reindeer-pulled sleigh, sack full of gifts and joyful spirit, Father Christmas is cherished and recognised around the world. Drawing on Christian traditions and folklore, he appears in many cultures under names such as Julemanden, Père Noël and Kris Kringle.

Inspired by the gift-giving Saint Nicholas, reimagined by the Victorians and now celebrated across the globe, Father Christmas remains a festive favourite in many cultures.
